forging the pathway for the next generation of brave and confident leaders through softball

The NOCO FUTURES Fastpitch League is a developmental based youth softball league for girls ages 4 through 10 years old. FUTURES Fastpitch was created by female-athletes who have played and coached softball at the highest levels and understand the need for a grassroots instructional based opportunity for future generations of female-athletes to learn, play and develop proper fundamentals at younger ages.

The NOCO FUTURES Fastpitch will have a consistent player development curriculum that will allow female-athletes the ability to learn the game, build a solid mechanical foundation, while learning self-confidence and ultimately having FUN as they grow in their love for softball. 6U and 8U athletes will have the option to participate in Alliance Performance Center Powered By Training once per week during season. This is an additional skill development practice at the APC facility led by APC Instructors. This training compliments their team practices and allows athletes (and Futures Coaches) to get additional skill specific development. 10U Futures Teams will have Powered By Training built into their practice schedule once per week.

f.a.q.

You have questions. wE have answers.

Read below for answers to some of the most commonly asked questions!

Can my daughter request teammates and coaches?

Yes! There will be form fields during the registration process that will ask you if there are any athletes you’d like to be on a team with, or any coaches you’d like to play for. This is where you will enter your requested information. Please keep in mind teams fill according to first come first serve. If there is a group of girls who would like to play together, please be sure to sign up early!

What equipment does my daugther need?

Required items you must provide include:
– A Fielders Facemask
– A Glove
– Cleats

– Batting Helmet with Facemask (each team bag will have 4 if you don’t want to buy your own)
– Bat (each team bag will have one team bat if you choose not to purchase your own)

– Bat Bag

Every team equipment bag will have the following items:
– 1 Team Bat
– 4 Helmets with Facemasks
– 1 Set of Catchers Gear

Can I help coach my daughters team?

Absolutely! We rely heavily on the assistance of volunteer coaches. If you’d like to coach, please select ‘yet’ in the appropriate form field upon registration or email riley.plogger@el1sports.com for more information. All volunteer coaches must pass a mandatory background check to coach our athletes.

How do I order a uniform?

After you complete the registration process, you will be sent information and a link to order your daughters jersey off of the Wilson Team Shop. The jersey will be the only item you will be required to order from the Team Shop. You will have the option of purchasing her softball pants (black) and game socks (white) from the Team Shop site for a discount or at a local retailer.

If my daughter already has a jersey from a previous season can she use it?

Yes! We make it a priority to keep athletes on the same color team as previous seasons. If for some reason, we are unable to accommodate this, we will offer a jersey trade in so you don’t have to purchase a brand new jersey if you don’t want to.

Is the uniform cost part of the registration fee?

No. The uniform cost is not included in the registration fee. The registration fee covers the cost associated with field rentals, umpires, and equipment.

What is Powered By Training?

Powered By Training is skill and position focused development curriculum taught by Alliance Performance Center NOCO instructors. All APC NOCO instructors are experienced professional coaches and played college softball. Powered By Training is an add on opportunity for 6U and 8U athletes who would like additional skill focused development (in addition to their weekly team practice). At the 10U level, Powered By Training is built into their practice schedule and will take place at the APC once a week. This is a great opportunity for the athletes and Futures Coaches to get additional training and knowledge!

Is the Futures League Rec?

Futures Fastpitch follows and INSTRUCTIONAL based curriculum which is different from traditional ‘rec’ programs. There will be beginner level skill sets, however we have tailored our rules and coaching format to TEACH the athletes with the goal of better and more effective player development as they progress.

Is 10U Futures Competitive Softball?

No, our 10u program is designed to fill the gap between rec level and competitive 10u softball. 10U kid pitch is a big jump for many athletes who are not yet ready for the competitive level. This program is designed to introduce the faster game inherent with 10u and the 10u rules. The goal of this program is to better prepare those interested in pursuing competitive softball while providing those who aren’t the ability to play and continue to learn.

Will there be a 12U Futures Division?

Yes! The 12U Futures Division is available for the fall 2024 season!
